Fashion in cinema and the columns of the 30s

Updated: Apr 1, 2023

Below I introduce and advise you through a list, the most famous films of the 30s that have contributed to strengthening the relationship between Fashion & Cinema.

While waiting for more chronologically written articles in which I will deepen the link, the very strong connection between these two great giants, we will begin to broaden our knowledge starting from the beginning and then arriving at the present day. The union of these two worlds allowed fashion to enormously expand its influence and power. The enthusiasm and innovative euphoria of the stylists are not a mere whim, but the couturier can be compared to an artist. For each decade I will suggest 15 unmissable films and cornerstones ... but with a warm heart, which any simple enthusiast or professional must know.

You have to learn and understand history, to understand its path.
